ACTIVITY #4 (MCOM-101)

Sacrificial animals too rich for someone's blood- MANSEHRA
As Eid-ul Azha is drawing nearer, prices of sacrificial animals have been increased by almost 40 percent in Mansehra as compared to last year. Most of the people went for bulls and buffaloes instead of goats and sheep. Public seemed to be complaining about the huge prices of animals because middle class families were facing difficulties in performing sacrifice on this ritual.Considering cattle markets, sheep and goats were limited as compared to buffaloes because people are preferring to get a share in a sacrificial animal rather than buying them individually. On the other hand, traders considered the prices of animals very reasonable as compared to previous year keeping in view the transportation problems and fodder shortage they had faced due to the flood issues.
